Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc, or .docx)
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. References should consist of at least 10 pertinent and up-to-date sources. 80% of the references must be from reputable international journals published within the last 5 years.
  • Manuscript Formatting should follow the provided template.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and followed the provided template

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for Submitting Articles to the DFAME Journal

Thank you for your interest in submitting an article to the DFAME Journal. We anticipate your valuable scholarly contribution. Please follow the following guidelines to ensure a successful article submission.

1. Article Format

The submitted article must adhere to the format provided in the official DFAME Journal template. The template is available in both English and Indonesian versions. Please ensure you use the appropriate template and follow the guidelines outlined within it.

2. Reference Writing

References or bibliography in the article must follow the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) format. Be sure to refer to the IEEE format guide for accurate citation and reference arrangement.

3. Article Content

Submitted articles should contain substantial, original, and relevant scholarly contributions in the respective field. Make sure to clearly and systematically explain the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.

4. Research and Publication Ethics

Ensure that the submitted article is an original work and has not been published elsewhere. If there are contributions or ideas from others, proper acknowledgment should be given. Avoid plagiarism by appropriately acknowledging all citations and sources of information.

5. Article Submission

Articles must be submitted through the online article submission platform provided by the DFAME Journal. Follow the steps outlined on the platform to upload the article, author information, and any requested additional information.

6. Review Process

After submission, the article will undergo a peer-review process. Review results will be communicated to the authors. Authors may be asked to revise the article based on reviewer recommendations before acceptance for publication.

7. Copyright Agreement

By submitting an article, authors agree that the copyright of the article will belong to the DFAME Journal if the article is accepted for publication. However, authors will still be acknowledged for their work.
